Scope
GB/T 6910-2026 is the English-translated version of 锅炉用水和冷却水分析方法 钙的测定 络合滴定法.
GB/T 6910-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering calcium in boiler and cooling water by EDTA titration - the hardness that becomes scale on a boiler tube and costs efficiency long before it costs the tube. It replaces GB/T 6910-2006 and has been in force since 1 November 2026. It was issued on 30 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 November 2026, replacing GB/T 6910-2006. This page is published from the official record of the 2026 edition; the clause text of a standard this recent is not yet in circulation, and the figures, limits and tables it contains are those of the document itself, delivered in full with the English translation.

7 Result Calculation and Representation
The calcium ion content in the water sample is calculated according to formulas (1) to (4).
8 Precision
In the same laboratory, by the same operator using the same equipment, following the same testing methods, and within a short period of time, the same test object is subjected to... The absolute difference between two independent test results obtained from mutually independent tests shall not exceed the repeatability limit (r); otherwise, the test results shall not be considered valid. If the value exceeds 5%, the repeatability limit (r) is calculated according to formulas (5) to (7). In different laboratories, by different operators using different equipment, following the same testing methods, and independently testing the same object... The absolute difference between two independent test results obtained from the test shall not exceed the reproducibility limit (R), and the number of cases exceeding the reproducibility limit (R) shall not exceed [a certain threshold]. 5%, the reproducibility limit (R) is calculated according to formulas (8) to (10).
9 Test Report
The test report should include at least the following information.
---Please indicate the document number;
---Name of the water sample, sampling date, etc.;
---Testing methods used;
---Experimental Results;
---Abnormal phenomena observed during the experiment;
