This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This Part replaces GB/T 6809.2-2006 "Reciprocating internal combustion engine components and systems - Part 2. Valves, camshaft drive and a drive mechanism ", compared with the GB/T 6809.2-2006 main technical changes are as follows.

--- As with ISO 7967-3:2010 consistent with the criteria listed in the normative references documents incorporated by reference (see reference, Chapter 2 2006 edition);

--- Modify some of the terms and definitions (see Chapter 2, Chapter 3, 2006 edition, Chapter 4, Section 5, Chapter 6 and Chapter 7);

--- A complete re-edit the text (see Chapter 2, Chapter 3, 2006 edition, Chapter 4, Chapter 5, Chapter 6 and Chapter 7).

This section uses the translation method identical with ISO 7967-3:2010 "Reciprocating internal combustion engine components and systems - Vocabulary - Part 3. Gas Door, camshaft drive and actuating mechanisms "(in English).

This part is proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.

1 Scope

GB/T 6809 This section specifies the terms and reciprocating engine valves, camshaft drive and actuating mechanisms related.

GB/T 1883.1 provides a reciprocating internal combustion engine and the classification provisions of the basic terms that the internal combustion engine and its operating characteristics.
