1 Scope

This part of GB/T 6809 defines terms relating to the ignition system of reciprocating internal combustion engines.

ISO 2710-1 gives a classification of reciprocating internal combustion engines and defines the basic terms and definitions of these internal combustion engines and their characteristics.

In this section, the terms are classified as follows.

a) type of ignition system;

b) traditional ignition system;

c) electronic ignition system;

d) computer controlled ignition system;

e) Ignition system parameters.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
