Scope
GB/T 6645-2008 is the English-translated version of 用于水泥中的粒化电炉磷渣.
This standard fixes the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag used for cement.
Clause 1 states that it applies to granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag used for cement mixture, and the page records no exclusion.
Its contents run Foreword, 1 Scope, 2 Normative References, 3 Terms and Definitions, 4 Technical Requirements, 5 Test Methods, 6 Inspection Rules, 7 Transportation and Storage, 8 Requirements of Usage and the normative Appendix A, Determination Method of Bulk Weight of Granulated Electric Furnace Phosphorous Slag.
Clause 3 defines granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag as the molten material, whose primary element is calcium silicate, that is obtained when the electric furnace method is used to prepare yellow phosphorus and is then quench granulated.
Clause 4 requires the mass coefficient K of raw phosphorous slag to be not less than 1.1 and the mass fraction of phosphorous pentoxide to be not more than 3.5 %, forbids mixing in foreign substances such as phosphorus mud and requires the radioactivity of the slag to satisfy GB 6566; clause 5 refers the determination of calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminium oxide, fluorine and phosphorus pentoxide to the method in JC/T 1088 and sets out the 10 mm circular sieve test for granule content over 10 mm and the grinding of the sample to under 0.16 mm for the radioactivity test; clause 6 fixes the sampling method, treating the slag discharged every half month as one batch and quartering at least 20 kg of mixed sample down to 5 kg for test, and covers type inspection and determination rules.
Clause 7 requires that phosphorus slag in bulk transport not be mixed with other materials and that the wagon or compartment be cleaned, and clause 8 requires a cement enterprise that starts using phosphorous slag from a supply side to carry out an acceptance inspection against all the requirements of chapter 4.
Clause 2 cites GB 175 and GB/T 6003.2, and Appendix A sets out the instruments and the test for bulk weight.
The foreword says the standard was proposed by China Building Materials Federation, is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Cements of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 184) and had China Building Materials Academy as its responsible drafting organization.
It replaces GB/T 6645-1986, was issued on 30 June 2008 and has applied since 1 April 2009.

Foreword
This Standard replaces GB/T 6645-1986 Granulated Electric Furnace Phosphorous Slag Used for Cement Production.
In comparison with GB/T 6645-1986, this Standard has the following main changes.
---NOTE is added to the definition of granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag (Chapter 2 in Version 1986; Chapter 3 in this version);
---Radioactive indexes and corresponding inspection methods of phosphorous slag are added (4.6 in this version; 5.7 in this version);
---Inspection rules specifically stipulate the determination rules of exit-factory inspection and type inspection of phosphorous slag (Chapter 4 in Version 1986; 6.5 in this version);
---Appendix A in the previous standard is modified into determination method of bulk weight of granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag; Appendix B in the previous standard is deleted.
Appendix A in this Standard is normative.
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms, definitions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag used for cement.
This Standard is applicable to granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag used for cement mixture.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this Standard.
Granulated Electric Furnace Phosphorous Slag When electric furnace method is adopted to prepare yellow phosphorus, molten material, whose primary element is calcium silicate, is obtained. Through quenching granulation, it becomes granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag (phosphorous slag, for short).
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Mass coefficient K of raw phosphorous slag shall be not less than 1.1.
4.2 In phosphorous slag, mass fraction of phosphorous pentoxide shall be not more than 3.5%.
4.5 Any foreign substances, for example, phosphorus mud, shall not be mixed into it.
4.6 Conduct the inspection in accordance with 5.6, the radioactivity of phosphorous slag shall satisfy relevant requirements in GB 6566.
5 Test Methods
5.1 Calcium Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, Silicon Dioxide, Aluminum oxide, Fluorine Content and Phosphorus Pentoxide Content
Conduct the test in accordance with the method in JC/T 1088.
5.2 Mass Fraction K
Mass fraction of raw phosphorus slag shall be calculated in accordance with Formula (1). The calculation result shall retain two decimal places.
5.4 Granule Content over 10 mm
Use 10 mm circular sieve, whose aperture satisfies the requirement in GB/T 6003.2 to test granule content. Dry phosphorous slag at (105 ± 5) °C to constant weight, then, weigh-take 2 kg of phosphorous slag sample, place it in the sieve. Manually vibrate it, till there is no apparent sample passing through, then, weigh the residue on the sieve.
Mass fraction of granule over 10 mm shall be calculated in accordance with Formula (2). The calculation result shall retain to integer.
5.6 Radioactivity
Grind phosphorous slag powder into refined powder whose granule size shall be less than 0.16 mm.
6 Inspection Rules
6.1 Sampling Method
Phosphorous slag, which is discharged every half a month, shall be deemed as one batch here. Sample can be taken continuously; or an equivalent amount of sample can be taken from over 20 different parts and the total amount of the sample shall be at least 20 kg. After thoroughly mixing the sample, use quartering method to quarter the sample to 5 kg for tests. During sampling, eliminate 150 mm ~ 200 mm surface layer.
6.3 Type Inspection
Under one of the following circumstances type inspection shall be conducted in accordance with all the requirements in Chapter 4.
6.4 Determination Rules
7 Transportation and Storage
In bulk transportation, phosphorus slag shall not be mixed with other materials. Wagon or compartment must be cleaned up, so as to avoid the mixture with foreign substances.
In terms of storage, foreign substances shall not be mixed with phosphorus slag.
8 Requirements of Usage
When a cement enterprise starts using phosphorous slag provided by the supply side, it shall conduct acceptance inspection in accordance with all the requirements in Chapter 4.
Appendix A (Normative) Determination Method of Bulk Weight of Granulated Electric Furnace Phosphorous Slag
A.1 Instruments
A.1.3 Steel ruler
The length of steel ruler shall be not less than 150 mm.
A.1.4 Platform scale
The division value of platform scale shall be not more than 10 g.
A.2.2 Test
In the test of bulk weight, place the bulk weight meter on a stable test table. Thoroughly mix up the sample; block the lower mouth of the funnel. Pour the phosphorous slag sample into the funnel. Open the feed opening, so that phosphorous slag can naturally fall into the bulk weight cylinder. After the cylinder is filled with phosphorous slag, use a steel ruler to scrape redundant phosphorous slag; weigh the mass of the bulk weight cylinder, which is filled with phosphorous slag. […]
