Scope

GB/T 6150.15-2023 is the English-translated version of 钨精矿化学分析方法 第15部分:铋含量的测定 氢化物发生原子荧光光谱法和火焰原子吸收光谱法.

GB/T 6150.15-2023 is part 15 of the Chinese methods for chemical analysis of tungsten concentrates and determines bismuth by two methods.

Method 1, hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry, covers a bismuth mass fraction of 0.0010 % to 0.30 % and method 2, flame atomic absorption spectrometry, covers 0.050 % to 0.50 %, with method 2 acting as the arbitration method where the ranges overlap.

In method 1 the sample is heated with hydrochloric, nitric and perchloric acid to thick white smoke to strip the tungsten matrix, argon serves as carrier gas, potassium borohydride reduces bismuth to its hydride, and the fluorescence intensity is referred to a working curve.

Its foreword places the test report in chapter 6. It replaces GB/T 6150.15-2008, was issued on 6 August 2023 and applies from 1 March 2024.

It has been more than ten years since GB/T 6150.15-2008 was released and implemented. During this period, its applicable product standards have been revised once in 2015.

(YS/T 231-2015), various technical indicators have undergone new changes, and upstream and downstream customers in the tungsten industry have also had new requirements for product testing.

In order to meet the demand, analysis and detection technology has also developed and improved, and the country has further strict requirements for environmental protection in various industries. In view of this, it is indeed necessary

GB/T 6150.15-2008 should be revised to ensure that the standard adapts to industry changes and market needs.

By improving and changing the analytical methods in existing standards, replacing them with new detection instruments or expanding the detection range, it is important to maintain The main ways to analyze the adaptability of method standards. This revision adds the hydride atomic fluorescence spectrometry method, which makes the detection limit of the method lower and can Increase the applicability of this document, thereby increasing the standard adoption rate and better serving and promoting production, trade and application needs.

1 Scope

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 17433 apply to this document.

4 Method 1.Hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry

4.1 Principle

The sample was heated and dissolved with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, and perchloric acid until thick white smoke was emitted. In the acidic solution from which a large amount of tungsten matrix was removed, thiourea-anticorrosion solution was used.

Blood acid is used as the masking agent, and argon (4.2.12) is used as the carrier gas. In the hydride generator, bismuth is reduced to hydride by potassium borohydride, which is exposed to atomic fluorescence light.

The fluorescence intensity is measured on the spectrometer, and the mass concentration of bismuth is found on the working curve.

4.2 Reagents or materials

Unless otherwise stated, only reagents confirmed to be of analytical grade were used in the analysis.

4.2.1 Water, GB/T 6682, Level 2.

4.2.2 Hydrochloric acid (rho=1.19g/mL, excellent grade pure).

4.2.3 Nitric acid (rho=1.42g/mL, excellent grade pure).

4.2.4 Perchloric acid (rho=1.67g/mL, excellent grade pure).

4.2.5 Hydrochloric acid (1 1).
