3.1 Chemical composition
Y4-W2 ZnS.Ag (ZnS. Ag) and (Zn · Cd) S.Cu · Al (zinc cadmium sulfide. copper and aluminum) mixed composition;
Y4-B1 ZnS.Ag (ZnS. Ag);
Y4-Y2 (Zn · Cd) S.Cu · Al (zinc cadmium sulfide. copper and aluminum).

Without mechanical impurities.
3.3 Appearance
Y4-W2 phosphors and phosphor Y4-Y2 as a pale yellow powder;
Y4-B1 phosphor as a white powder.
3.4 Density
Y4-W2 (4.10 ± 0.02) g/cm3;
Y4-B1 (4.06 ± 0.02) g/cm3;
Y4-Y2 (4.19 ± 0.02) g/cm3.
3.5 size
Y4-W2 mass median particle diameter (d50) .( 9.0 ± 1.0) µm; logarithmic standard deviation (lnsigma). 0.30 ± 0.10;
Y4-B1 mass median particle diameter (d50) .( 9.0 ± 1.0) µm; logarithmic standard deviation (lnsigma). 0.30 ± 0.10;
