Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document is part 20 of GB/T 5170 "Inspection Methods for Environmental Test Equipment". GB/T 5170 has released the following parts.

This document replaces GB/T 5170.20-2005 "Methods for Verification of Basic Parameters of Environmental Test Equipment for Electrical and Electronic Products" Water Test Equipment Compared with GB/T 5170.20-2005, in addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) All "verification" is changed to "inspection";

b) Added "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3);

c) Added inspection items (see Table 1, Chapter 3 of the 2005 edition);

d) Changed the requirements for "rainfall intensity measuring instrument", "raindrop diameter measuring instrument", "water pressure measuring instrument" and "water flow measuring instrument" (See Table 2, Chapter 4 of the 2005 edition);

e) The measuring instruments "angle meter", "stopwatch", "tape measure", "vernier caliper", "needle gauge", "electronic scale" and "thermometer" were added (see Table 2);

f) Added "Inspection of Rb2 water spray method test equipment" (see 7.2.3);

g) Added "Inspection of fan-shaped water spray method test equipment" (see 7.2.4);

h) Added at least the information that should be included in the inspection report (see 8.2);

i) Added "Inspection Period" (see Chapter 9).

Introduction

GB/T 5170 "Environmental Testing Equipment Inspection Methods" is mainly applicable to GB/T 2423 "Environmental Testing Part 2: Test Methods".
