Scope
GB/T 48071.2-2026 is the English-translated version of 磁粉心 尺寸和表面缺陷极限导则 第2部分:环形磁粉心.
Ring or toroidal cores are a common shape for inductors, chokes and other magnetic components, and this is Part 2 of the series of guidelines on the dimensions of magnetic powder cores and the limits of surface irregularities, addressing ring-cores. It adopts an international standard.
The standard is aimed at magnetic powder core producers, designers of power conversion and filtering components, quality control and inspection staff, and testing laboratories. It gives suppliers and customers a shared guideline when agreeing on the dimensions of ring-shaped parts and on the acceptable condition of their surfaces, which is useful when cores are bought in volume and inspected on receipt.
It is a recommended (GB/T) standard and is voluntary unless required by a contract or other binding document. It is intended to be used together with the general specification in Part 1. It was issued on 28 August 2026 and takes effect on 1 December 2026.
