This document, Part 2 of the series on electromagnetic compatibility for such machinery, deals with the additional EMC requirements that arise where functional safety is involved. It is meant to be read alongside the general requirements in Part 1 rather than on its own.
Typical readers are control-system engineers, machine designers, safety managers and EMC test laboratories working on tractors, harvesters, forestry machines and similar equipment that use electronic safety-related functions. Manufacturers exporting to or selling in China can use it to align their design and verification work with the national approach. It is a recommended national standard, so compliance is voluntary unless required by a contract or another rule. It was issued on 28 August 2026 and takes effect on 1 March 2027. It does not adopt an international standard, so it is an original Chinese document within the machinery EMC series.

GB/T 48050.2-2026 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 28 August 2026 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 March 2027.
It is under the responsibility of the China Machinery Industry Federation.
