3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 20000.1 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 standard

Standardization activities, conducted through consensus and following prescribed procedures, provide rules, guidelines, or characteristics for various activities or their outcomes.

3.2 digital technology

Using computers, networks, and communications, data and information are transformed into digital form for display, storage, processing, transmission, and use.

A type of technology.

Note. Digital technology includes various technologies such as blockchain, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.

3.3 machine readable

A capability that allows data to be automatically input into a computer in a data-related form.
