Scope
GB/T 47869-2026 is the English-translated version of 运载火箭海上发射基础设施核心元数据要求.
GB/T 47869-2026 sets core metadata requirements for the offshore launch infrastructure of launch vehicles. It gives a Unified Modeling Language description of the core metadata and a data dictionary description of the metadata entities, elements and core metadata, and it covers how the core metadata can be extended.
Normative appendices explain the methods for describing metadata and the methods, principles and implementation of metadata extension. The standard applies to describing the core metadata of sea-based launch infrastructure and to sharing and exchanging the related information.
Issued on 2 July 2026 and applicable from 1 November 2026. Terms defined include offshore launch platform, metadata and metadata element.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 26816-2025 and GB/T 32455, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
3.1 Offshore launch platform
Engineering facilities that support and ensure the success of launch vehicle missions in marine environments.
Note: Platform structures generally include ship-type, jack-up, and semi-submersible types.
3.2 To ensure
the success of space missions such as rocket launches and recovery in marine environments, a dedicated system consisting of hardware facilities and supporting software was constructed. A comprehensive security system that can be permanent or mobile.
3.3 Metadata
Data that defines and describes other data. [Source: GB/T 26816-2025, 3.2]
3.4 Metadata element
Independent units of metadata.
Note 1. Metadata elements are unique within a metadata class.
Note 2. Synonymous with attributes and/or associations in UML terminology.
