GB/T 47800-2026 is the English-translated version of 工业5G终端通信通用技术要求及测试方法.

GB/T 47800-2026 sets general technical requirements and test methods for industrial 5G terminal communication.

It covers the deployment of industrial 5G terminals and their functional requirements, including the functional logic architecture, communication functions and safety requirements, as well as performance requirements for 5G radio frequency performance, data transmission rate, delay, reliability and power consumption.

Test methods cover both functional and performance testing. Informative appendices describe industrial 5G terminal types, edge computing for such terminals and test methods for edge gateways.

The standard applies to the design, development, production, integration, application and testing of industrial 5G terminals. Issued on 2 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027.
