1.Scope This document specifies the technical requirements for age-friendly modifications to mobile internet applications (Apps), including perceptibility, operability, and rationality. The requirements for solvability, compatibility, and security are described, along with the corresponding testing methods. This document applies to the development and testing of age-friendly features for mobile internet application products, including both standalone age-friendly applications and more. The product also includes age-friendly modes embedded in the application.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Overview The App Age-Friendly Technical Specifications stipulate requirements in five aspects. perceptibility, operability, understandability, compatibility, and security. Unless otherwise specified in this document, the requirements for age-friendly modes and separate age-friendly apps (such as font size adjustment in section 4.2.1, and group 4.3.1) are not detailed here. 4.2 Perceptibility
4.2.1 Font size adjustment for aging In apps, sans-serif fonts are recommended, and the font size should be adjustable (either by adjusting system settings or by having built-in functionality within the app). 4.3 Operability
4.3.1 Adjusting the component focus size for aging adaptation In systems that use dp as the pixel unit, the main components of a standalone age-friendly app or application's age-friendly mode homepage can be clicked. The size of the clickable area should be no less than 48dp × 48dp, and the size of the clickable focus area of other main components on other pages should be no less than 44dp × 44dp; In systems that use points (pt) as the pixel unit, the main components of a standalone age-friendly app or application's age-friendly mode homepage can be clicked in the focus area. 4.3.2 Age-appropriate adjustment of gesture operation Within the app, feedback prompts should be provided regarding the results of user gesture navigation or operations; avoid requiring three or more fingers to navigate. It can perform complex gesture operations.
4.3.3 Sufficient operating time for appropriate aging adjustment Within an app, if the time limit is not a necessary part or key element of the activity, and will not lead to any legal commitment or financial transaction by the user... If the task is easy, sufficient time should be allowed for user actions, and the page or component should not change until the user has completed their action. 4.4 Understandability When users install apps through app stores, app operators should provide prominent guidance on age-friendly settings and functions frequently used by seniors. hint. Apps with an embedded age-friendly mode should have a prominent entry point on their homepage that allows users to switch to age-friendly mode; or provide a prominent entry point upon first access. The app should display a switch prompt and provide an entry point for the age-friendly mode in the root directory such as "Settings" or "My Account". Apps with search functionality should include a "Senior Version". As the standard search function name, users can directly access it through the search function, and can also set aliases such as "Family Version," "Caring Version," and "Compassionate Version" for search. 4.5 Compatibility Apps should not restrict the access and use of auxiliary devices (such as screen reader software) that have already been adapted by terminal manufacturers. When accessibility tools are enabled, all functional components in the app should function correctly. buttons should be accessible; input fields should function normally. Input should be processed; multimedia should play normally; after a partial page update, newly added functional components in the App content should also function normally.

4.6 Security
4.6.1 Advertising Plugin In the age-friendly mode of an app or a standalone age-friendly version of the app, there should be no advertising content or inserts that interfere with users' normal network usage. The device should not display advertisements randomly or as temporary pop-up ads.
4.6.2 Induced Components The app should not contain any misleading components that induce downloads or payments.
4.6.3 Protect the personal information security of elderly users When collecting and processing personal information, apps should adhere to the principle of minimum necessity, meaning that the collection and processing of personal information should have a clear and reasonable purpose. And should be limited to the minimum scope required to achieve the purpose of collection and processing, and should not involve the collection or processing of personal information unrelated to the purpose of collection and processing. To ensure the security of elderly users' personal information, specific actions regarding the collection of personal information (such as location information, image information, etc.) should comply with regulations. 5.1 Test Conditions
5.1.1 Test Environment Conditions Except for tests with specific requirements, all other tests shall be conducted under standard atmospheric conditions for testing.
a) Temperature. 15°C~35°C;
b) Relative humidity. 25%~75%;
c) Atmospheric pressure. 86 kPa~106 kPa.
5.1.2 Test Terminal Conditions The test terminal system version should be updated to the latest version pushed to that terminal.
5.1.3 Pre-set conditions for the test object The tested app must meet the following basic requirements.
a) The app being tested should be in a normal state;
b) The tested App should complete the age-friendly design or modification according to the technical requirements in Chapter 4, and can be switched to an age-friendly mode or a standalone age-friendly mode. Old version of the app.
5.2 Perceptibility

a) Check the size of the clickable focus area of the main components on the homepage;
b) Check the size of the clickable focus area of the main components on other pages. Expected results.
