Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 18168:2015 "Carpets - Color fastness to detergent".

The technical differences between this document and ISO 18168:2015, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---A diagram of the experimental setup has been added (see 5.1) to more clearly illustrate the structure of the experimental setup;

---The temperature of the constant temperature chamber was changed from (40±2)°C to (37±2)°C (see 5.2.4) to meet the temperature requirements of subsequent test sections.

Maintain consistency;

---A device for heating the detergent (see 5.2.6) has been added to ensure the detergent dissolves;

---The water requirements for preparing detergents have been changed (see 5.3) to comply with my country's technical requirements;

---The normative reference GB/T 6682 (see 5.3) has been added to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---The normative reference GB/T 6151 (see 5.4) has been added to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---The normative reference GB/T 7568.1 (see 5.4) has been added to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---The normative reference GB/T 7568.2 (see 5.4) has been added to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---The normative reference GB/T 7568.3 (see 5.4) has been added to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---The normative reference GB/T 7568.4 (see 5.4) has been added to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

---The normative reference GB/T 7568.5 (see 5.4) has been added to adapt to my country's technical conditions;

Two 50mm × 40mm single-fiber liner pieces are needed, one of which will be used as a support, but the final sample preparation size will be...

It measures 100mm x 40mm; two 50mm x 40mm monofiber linings cannot cover it.

---The requirements for gray cards have been changed (see 5.5) to comply with my country's technical requirements;

---The sample preparation method for multi-fiber lining fabrics has been added (see Chapter 6), which is consistent with the color fastness testing of textiles and makes the test more...

--- Changing "sew along both sides" to "sew along all four sides" (see 6.4) carries the risk of loose fibers or tufts falling out when sewing along both sides;

---The test report now includes a section specifying the type of detergent and operating procedures (see Chapter 8). The document includes two types of detergents and the two operating procedures are different, and the test results are not the same.

This document applies to the testing of the colorfastness to detergents of carpets, carpet yarns, loose fibers and pile.
