Scope

GB/T 47214-2026 is the English-translated version of 农药自发分散性测定方法.

GB/T 47214-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering whether a pesticide formulation disperses in water by itself - a suspension concentrate that needs vigorous stirring in the laboratory will not disperse properly in a farmer's tank, and the deposit that stays at the bottom is both a dose lost and a nozzle blocked. First edition, with GB/T 47202-2026 on dispersion stability. It was issued on 27 February 2026 and has been in force since 1 September 2026, as a first edition. The document is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. This page is published from the official record of the 2026 edition; the clause text of a standard this recent is not yet in circulation, and the figures, limits and tables it contains are those of the document itself, delivered in full with the English translation.

This document describes methods for determining the spontaneous dispersibility of pesticide formulations using the active ingredient method and the gravimetric method. This document applies to the determination of the spontaneous dispersibility of liquid pesticide formulations that have been diluted with water to form a suspension.

GB/T 43167 Standard Hard Water for Pesticide Testing

3 Terms and Definitions

This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.

4.1 Active Ingredient Method

4.1.1 Principle Prepare a 5% (v/v) suspension of the test sample using standard hard water. Under specified conditions, allow it to stand in a graduated cylinder for a certain period of time. The upper 9/10 of the suspension was removed, and the mass of the effective components in the bottom 1/10 of the suspension was determined by the effective component method to calculate the spontaneous dispersibility.

4.1.2 Reagents and Solutions Standard hard water. Standard hard water D (unless otherwise specified), prepared in accordance with GB/T 43167.

4.1.3 Instruments

4.1.3.1 Graduated cylinder. 250mL, with ground glass stopper, graduations from 0mL to 250mL spaced 20cm to 26cm apart, the 250mL mark is aligned with the stopper. The distance between the bottoms of the pieces should be 3cm to 7cm.

4.1.3.2 Glass straw. approximately 40cm long, with an inner diameter of approximately 5mm, one pointed end with a hole of approximately 2mm~3mm, and the other end connected to the corresponding... On the air extraction source.

4.1.3.3 Analytical balance. scale division value is 0.001g.
