This document specifies the protected species, basic requirements, management requirements, technical requirements, breeding and selection, and conservation of livestock genetic resources in protected areas. The monitoring and genetic resource replenishment exchange content describes the verification methods. This document applies to the conservation work in genetic resource protection areas for pigs, cattle, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, camels, and rabbits.
