This document replaces GB/T 27534.2-2011 "Technical Specifications for Survey of Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Part 2.Pigs" and GB/T 27534.2-

Compared with.2011, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Deleted the weight of the net oil, tail weight, blood weight, bladder weight, hoof weight, large intestine net weight and length, small intestine net weight and length in the slaughter and meat quality performance survey.

Weight and length, meat-to-bone ratio, leg-to-hip ratio, water loss rate, etc. (see 4.3.3 of the.2011 edition);

b) Added growth and development performance survey content (see 6.3.2);

c) Added carcass performance investigation content (see 6.3.4);

d) The tenderness, pH1, pH24 and other indicators in the muscle quality survey content have been changed (see 6.3.5, 4.3.3 of the.2011 edition);

e) Added semen quality investigation content (see 6.3.6);

f) Added survey methods (see Chapter 7);

g) Added pedigree information survey content (see 7.10);

h) The sample size required for each survey content indicator has been changed (see 7.2.1, 7.3.1, 7.4.1, 7.5.1, 7.6.1, 7.7.1, 7.8.1 and 7.9.1,.2011

i) Changed the requirements for the collation and archiving of survey information (see Chapter 8, Chapter 6 of the.2011 edition);

j) The relevant requirements of the table in the genetic resources survey form have been changed (see Appendix A, Appendix A of the.2011 edition).

Introduction

Livestock and poultry genetic resources are important strategic resources for maintaining national ecological security and agricultural security, and are the material basis for the high-quality development of animal husbandry.

Conducting livestock and poultry genetic resource surveys is a statutory duty stipulated in the Animal Husbandry Law of the People's Republic of China and is an important task in approving new livestock and poultry breeds (supporting lines) and identifying

The basic requirements for identifying new genetic resources, formulating livestock and poultry genetic resource protection and utilization plans and livestock and poultry genetic resource protection lists, and engaging in breeding livestock and poultry production and management, etc.

GB/T 27534 "Technical Specifications for Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Survey" aims to standardize and guide the investigation of livestock and poultry genetic resources.

It consists of eleven parts.
