1 Scope

This standard specifies the finished leather defect classification, measurement and calculation of defect areas.

This standard applies to leather products.

2 defect classification

Defects are classified according to their shape characteristics.

2.1 linear defect

It is linear defects, such as cracks, scratches and the like.

2.2-type surface defects

Defect in a certain area of the exhibit regular or irregular shapes, such as scars, holes, mark and the like.

2.3 aggregation type defects

A variety of defects in a certain area gathered from each other no more than 7cm, such as lice or dispersed fly eye boil two (or more) adjacent defect
