3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 The process of making rural household toilets meet functional and hygiene requirements, and have a certain function of harmless treatment of fecal waste.
4 General Principles
4.1 Adhere to government guidance and farmer participation. With the goals of facilitating farmers' lives, protecting their health, and improving their quality of life, the government will focus on agriculture... 4.4 Adhere to the principle of giving equal importance to construction and management, and ensure long-term operation. Promote the coordinated treatment of toilet waste and domestic sewage, and improve the system that combines government guidance with market operation. Establish a long-term management and maintenance mechanism and improve the service system.
5 Mode Selection
5.1 The site selection for rural household toilets should be combined with the overall layout of the courtyard and house, fully consider geographical conditions, and make reasonable use of existing facilities.
