Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is modified to adopt ISO 2066:2004 "Determination of moisture content of coalescing cork flooring".

This document has undergone some structural adjustments compared to ISO 2066:2004.A comparison of the structural numbering between the two documents is shown in the appendix.

This document differs significantly from ISO 2066:2004 in several technical aspects. The relevant clauses are indicated in vertical margins.

The single line (|) is marked. A summary of these technical differences and their reasons can be found in Appendix B.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

1 Scope

This document describes a method for determining the moisture content of cork flooring.

This document applies to the determination of moisture content in cork flooring.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 42110 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Cork flooring

Flooring material made from leather (leather) through processing.

Moisture content

Under certain conditions, the ratio of the mass loss after drying to constant weight to the mass at which the product is dried to constant weight.

4 Principles

The moisture content of cork flooring was determined using the drying method. Based on the mass of the dried cork flooring, the moisture content was calculated.

Water content.

5 Instruments

5.1 Balance, with an accuracy of 0.01g.

5.2 Use a forced-air drying oven, controlled at (103±2)°C.

5.3 Dryer, with a capacity sufficient to hold open containers and adequate desiccant.

5.4 Open container with sufficient capacity to hold the test sample.

5.5 Cutting tools (for sample preparation), such as utility knives.

6 Sampling and Sample Preparation
