Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document is modified to adopt ISO 3850:2004 "Determination of apparent density of resilient flooring composite cork".

Compared with ISO 3850:2004, this document has undergone many structural adjustments. A comparison of the structural numbering between the two documents is shown in the appendix.

Record A.

This document differs significantly from ISO 3850:2004 in several technical aspects. The relevant clauses are indicated in vertical margins.

The single line (|) is marked. A summary of these technical differences and their reasons can be found in Appendix B.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

1 Scope

This document describes the method for determining the apparent density of cork flooring.

This document applies to the determination of the apparent density of cork flooring.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 42110 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Cork flooring

Flooring material made from leather (leather) through processing.

Apparent density

The mass per unit volume of cork flooring under certain conditions.

4 Principles

The dimensions of the cork flooring samples were measured and weighed. The apparent density was calculated by the ratio of mass to volume.

5 Instruments

5.1 Steel measuring tape with a graduation value of 1.0 mm. Select the measuring range according to the size of the specimen.

5.2 Micrometer, with a graduation value of 0.01 mm, select the measuring range according to the specimen size.

5.3 Balance. accuracy is 0.01g.

6 Sampling and Sample Preparation
