Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document modifies and adopts ISO 13127:2012 "Packaging – Child-protective packaging – Reusable child-protective packaging systems – Machinery".
Test Methods.
This document has undergone significant structural adjustments compared to ISO 13127:2012.A table comparing the structural numbering changes between the two documents is provided.
See Appendix A.
The main technical differences between this document and ISO 13127:2012, and the reasons for these differences, are as follows.
---ISO 8317 (see Chapter 3, 4.2, 4.3, 5.2 and 7.8) has been replaced with the normative reference GB/T 25163 to adapt to my country's national standards.
Improve operability by addressing the emotional aspect.
---The terms and definitions for mechanical testing, key features, and gaskets/liners have been deleted because they are already present in the normatively referenced GB/T 25163.
The definitions of these three terms do not need to be repeated;
---The terms "pushandturnsystem" and "opening lid system" have been removed from the two English equivalents of the term "pushandturnsystem".
The English equivalent, "snap-capsystem," is used to conform to industry usage conventions.
---Terms and definitions from the original specification have been removed because they were not mentioned in this document;
---The requirement for testing facilities (see 4.4 of ISO 13127:2012) has been removed, as it was an operational requirement that all testing facilities should meet.
The requirements will not be repeated here;
---The requirement to test immediately after packaging and adjustment has been removed (see 5.2). The original text stipulated sample pretreatment to ensure...
Once it reaches a stable state, whether or not the experiment is conducted immediately has no impact.
---The content regarding "the name and identity of the signatory should be included in the test report" (see 7.10) has been deleted because it was mentioned repeatedly and need not be repeated.
---Amend the note "Its design should be as..." in ISO 13127:2012, A.1.2, B.1.2, C.1.2, D.1.2, E.1.2, H.1.2, I.1.3, and J.1.2.
The section on "reducing component deformation" is a clause (see Appendices B to F, and Appendices I to K), as suggested in the notes;
---The alternative test methods in C.2, F.2, H.2, and G.4 of ISO 13127:2012 have been deleted (see Annex D, Annex G, Annex 4).
H, Appendix I), because the document does not specify in what situations an alternative test should be performed, and the method cited is the ASTM standard.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
---To align with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "Mechanical Test Methods for Child-Proofing Reusable Packaging Systems".
Law";
---Note 5.2 has been deleted because assembly is not possible without contents, and in practice, assembly within 24 hours cannot be guaranteed.
---Note 7.3, "The testing organization and the applicant may have the same address," has been deleted because the testing organization and the applicant may have the same address.
No special instructions are needed;
---Reference ISO/IEC 17025 has been removed because the original text that referenced ISO/IEC 17025 was deleted.
Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document assumes no responsibility for identifying patents.
This document was proposed and is under the jurisdiction of the National Packaging Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC49).

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 25163 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
thread system
It consists of a container and a sealing cap, and the threaded fit between the container and the sealing cap ensures child-proof opening and a tight seal.
The packaging system is designed to prevent children from opening it.
squeeze and turn system A child-proof packaging system that prevents the cap from being opened by squeezing it at a designated location while applying torque to unscrew it from the container.
press and turn system A child-proof packaging system that applies a downward force while simultaneously applying torque to unscrew the sealing cap on the container.
Align and lift system Child-proof packaging system. Align the markings on the container and the sealing cap before pushing open the sealing cap.
Reference data
