Scope
GB/T 46482-2025 is the English-translated version of LED/LD用稀土荧光片.
GB/T 46482-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the phosphor plate that sits in front of a laser or a high-power LED — the conversion efficiency and the colour it produces, the thermal conductivity that has to carry away the Stokes heat, and the stability under a beam that would burn a silicone-bound phosphor away. It is what makes laser headlights and laser projection possible. First edition, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026.

3.1 rare-earth phosphor film
Fluorescent blocks are obtained by heat treatment of rare earth phosphors or rare earth phosphors and inorganic non-metallic powder materials, followed by cutting, grinding or polishing.
Sheet-shaped products obtained through processing steps such as light cutting and scribing.
3.2 hole
Pores or pits on the surface of rare earth fluorescent sheets.
3.3 chipping
Damage exists at the edge of the rare earth fluorescent sheet.
3.4 crack
Narrow slit defects on the surface of rare earth fluorescent sheets.
