Foreword

This Document was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for

Standardization – Part 1.Rules for the Structure and Drafting of Standardizing Documents.

This Document is Part 2 of GB/T 46150 Boilers and Pressure Vessels. GB/T 46150 published

the following parts.

--- Part 1.Performance Requirements;

--- Part 2.Procedures for Fulfilling the Requirements of GB/T 46150.1.

This Document modifies and adopts ISO 16528-2.2007 Boilers and Pressure Vessels – Part 2.

Procedures for Fulfilling the Requirements of ISO 16528-1.

The technical differences between this Document and ISO 16528-2.2007 and their causes are

as follows.

--- Delete the description of the conformity table published on the ISO/TC 11 website in the

conformity procedure, and improve the operability.

--- Add the scope of application has to comply with relevant regulations.

This Document made the following editorial modifications.

--- In order to align with the existing standard, change the standard name into Boilers and

Pressure Vessels – Part 2.Procedures for Fulfilling the Requirements of GB/T 46150.1.

1 Scope

This Document specifies the procedures and standard formats for conformity testing of boiler

and pressure vessel product standards to demonstrate that they meet the performance

requirements of GB/T 46150.1-2025.

This Document applies to conformity testing of product standards defined by the performance

requirements of GB/T 46150.1-2025.

2 Normative References

The provisions in following documents become the essential provisions of this Document

through reference in this Document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates

indicated are applicable to this Document; for the undated documents, only the latest version

(including all the amendments) is applicable to this Document.

NOTE. There are no technical differences between the quoted contents of GB/T 46150.1-2025 and

those of ISO 16528-1.2007.

3 Terms and Definitions

For the purposes of this Document the terms and definitions given in GB/T 46150.1 apply.

4 Conformity Testing Procedures

This Document provides a detailed description and expansion of the performance requirements

of GB/T 46150.1 by refining the following two criteria.

a) In Clause 7 of GB/T 46150.1-2025, regarding requirements need to consider the failure

modes.

b) In Clause 8 of GB/T 46150.1-2025, regarding technical requirements; and in Clause 9,

regarding qualification evaluation requirements.

Conformity testing shall be performed in accordance with the conformity table given in Clause

5.
