GB/T 46005-2025 is the Chinese national standard for clearing pine trees killed or dying from pests and diseases.

It establishes the procedure to follow and sets the requirements for investigating and marking the trees to be cleared, for the assignment design, for the clearing work itself, for pest control and for file management, with a normative Appendix A that gives the survey record form for the clearance.

It defines shoot and wood pests, the damaged wood itself and the healthy tree, and cites GB/T 2260 and GB/T 10114 for administrative division codes.

It covers pine trees dying or dead from branch and trunk pests and diseases, and also the clearing of some other conifers such as Cupressaceae and Cryptomeria, but not trees infected by the pine wood nematode. It was issued on 1 August 2025 and has applied since 1 November 2025.
