Scope

GB/T 45924-2025 is the English-translated version of 薄型中空玻璃.

GB/T 45924-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering a two-cavity insulating unit thin enough to fit an ordinary window frame, made with a film or a thin sheet dividing the cavity rather than a third full pane — the separator and the pressure equalisation hole that keeps the two cavities at the same pressure, the thickness and area limits, the dimensional deviations, the heat transfer coefficient, the inert gas leakage rate, and the impact resistance of the separator. First edition, under the China Building Materials Federation. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026.
