Scope
GB/T 45883-2025 is the English-translated version of 羊肚菌菌种.
GB/T 45883-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the spawn a morel grower actually buys — the mother stock in solid and in liquid form, the sensory requirements for each, the sclerotia the mycelium forms, the mating type genes that control sexual reproduction and fruiting, the inspection for contaminant fungi and pests, the inspection rules, and the labelling, marking, packaging, storage and transport. A culture that grows well and never fruits is a season lost, which is why the mating type genes are part of the requirements. First edition, under the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026.
