Scope

GB/T 45861-2025 is the English-translated version of 重载齿轮箱加速疲劳试验技术规范.

GB/T 45861-2025 tells test houses how to run an accelerated fatigue test on a heavy duty gearbox, that is one with a rated power of not less than 1000 kW or a rated torque of not less than 100 kN·m used in wind power, mining, coal mining and marine equipment.

It sets the symbols, the test system and test bench, the test conditions, the preparation before the test, the test procedure and the inspection and failure determination.

Two normative annexes give the two ways of compiling the accelerated fatigue load spectrum, one based on the normal distribution and one on Conover's eight-level load spectrum, with the equivalent torque, the relative loading time of each torque level and the load acceleration factor K. It was issued on 1 August 2025 and has applied since 1 February 2026.

1 Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and instructions, test system, test conditions, pre-test Preparation, test procedure, inspection and failure determination.

This document is applicable to wind power generation, mining, coal mining and marine equipment applications with a rated power of not less than 1000kW or The gearbox with a rated torque of not less than 100 kN·m has not reached failure qualification evaluation after accelerated fatigue test.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 3374.1 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Heavy-duty gearboxes

Gearbox with a rated power of not less than 1000kW or a rated torque of not less than 100kN·m.

Note: Hereinafter referred to as gearbox.

3.2 Failure

One or more technical indicators of the gearbox have irreversibly exceeded the allowable value, or the components of the gearbox (excluding wearing parts) have Physical damage.

Note: Consumable parts mainly refer to rubber seals, including lubricants, but do not include gears, bearings, shafts, housings and other transmission or support parts. Manufacturer's product manuals and other relevant documents. [Source: GB/T 40729-2021, 3.4]

3.3 Original load spectrum

A general term for graphs, tables, matrices or other probabilistic eigenvalues that represent the magnitude, variation and frequency of loads in actual engineering.
