This document is equivalent to IEC 63152:2020 "The role of electricity supply in urban service continuity for disaster response in smart cities".

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

--To coordinate with the existing standards, the name of the standard will be changed to "Smart City Disaster Response Urban Service Continuity Power Supply" guide".

Introduction

Disasters pose a potential threat to the continuity of urban services. Therefore, it is urgent to build a safe and reliable social environment to ensure that disasters have a minimal impact on urban services.

The negative impact of disasters can be minimized and urban services can continue to be provided to citizens during disasters.

1 Scope

This document establishes the concepts related to safeguarding urban services during disasters and provides guidance on establishing power continuity from the perspective of power supply.

Guide to planning and systematic approaches and measures for power continuity.

This document is applicable to city builders, city operators, equipment manufacturers, basic urban service providers and disaster managers.
