Introduction

GB/T 45629 "Information Technology Data Center Equipment and Infrastructure" is proposed to consist of nine parts.

---Part 1: General Concepts. The purpose is to define commonly used terminology, parameters, and reference models for data center infrastructure.

---Part 2: Building Structure. This section aims to specify the construction requirements for data center infrastructure, etc.

---Part 3: Power Distribution. This section aims to specify the power supply, power distribution system, and lightning protection for data centers.

---Part 4: Environmental Control. The purpose is to specify temperature control, fluid control, vibration control, and particulate matter control for data centers.

---Part 5: Telecommunications Cabling Infrastructure. The purpose is to specify the telecommunications cabling for data center infrastructure networks and general information technology cabling.

1 Scope

This document, based on the standard classification and requirements for "physical security" in ISO/IEC 22237-1, specifies the requirements for data centers.

Construction requirements and recommendations for buildings and other structures to support data center availability.

This document specifies the following requirements and recommendations.

a) Location and site selection (considering the natural environment and adjacent buildings);

b) Environmental risk protection;

c) Site layout;

d) Building construction;

e) Building layout;

f) Access control;

g) Physical intrusion protection;

h) Physical fire protection;

i) Waterproof;

j) Construction quality measures.
