Scope
GB/T 45445-2025 is the English-translated version of 电子商务平台适老化通用要求.
GB/T 45445-2025 addresses the trouble an older person has with an ordinary shopping app by fixing what the age-friendly version of an E-commerce platform has to offer. Clause 4 states the general aims. Clause 5 requires an age-friendly mode with a conspicuous entry point, allows it to be a separate site or app or a mode embedded in the ordinary one, keeps its screens to the modules actually needed to buy something, and asks the platform to run anti-fraud controls and to drop abbreviations, English acronyms and internet slang from that mode. Clause 6 is the detailed part: minimum text sizes in the default and in the enlarged setting, text contrast ratios, white-on-black display, line and paragraph spacing, a ban on colour as the only carrier of meaning, minimum icon dimensions, magnification to 200 percent with no content lost, tutorial videos for the basic shopping steps, voice reading and human voice customer service, focus indication and minimum touch target sizes, time allowed for payment and for verification codes, closable pop-up windows, and compatibility with screen readers already on the device. Clause 7 forbids misleading buttons, restricts advertising inside the mode, and applies the minimum-necessary rule to personal data. It is written for platform developers, testers and certification bodies.
