1 Scope

GB/T 45360-2025 is the Chinese standard for the inspection, marking and packaging of dyed and printed fabrics of cotton and man-made fibres, pure and blended. It is the document that decides how a roll of finished fabric is presented, examined and accepted, and it is cited in a very large number of supply contracts: the sampling, the examination of the piece for defects and how those defects are counted and graded, the measurement of length and width, the marking of the piece and of the package, and the packaging itself for transport and storage. The commercial weight of a standard like this is in the dispute it prevents: a fabric rejected for defects is rejected against a counting rule, and this is that rule. It applies to dyed and printed woven fabrics of cotton and of man-made fibre, pure or blended. For a mill, a converter or a buyer inspecting a delivery in China, this is the text the inspection follows.

This document specifies the inspection, marking and packaging of cotton and chemical fiber pure and blended printed and dyed fabrics. This document is applicable to all kinds of bleached yarns produced by weaving with cotton, chemical fiber pure or blended, cotton, chemical fiber and other fiber blended yarns as raw materials White, dyed and printed fabrics.
