Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the redrafting method to modify the use of ISO 2959.2011 "textile woven fabric description."

The technical differences between this standard and ISO 2959.2011 and their reasons are as follows.

--- Regarding the normative reference documents, this standard has been adjusted with technical differences to adapt to the technical conditions of China and adjust the situation.

It is concentrated in Chapter 2, "Regulatory References", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO 1833 (all parts) with GB/T 2910 (all parts) using international standards (see 3.2.4);

* Replace ISO 2076 with GB/T 4146.1 modified to international standards (see 3.2.1);

* Replace ISO 3572 with GB/T 8683 modified to international standards (see 3.5);

* Replace ISO 1139 with GB/T 8693 modified to international standards (see 3.3);

* Added reference to GB/T 11951 (see 3.2.1);

* Added references to FZ/T 01026 and FZ/T 01095 (see 3.2.4);

--- Added the name of "natural fiber according to GB/T 11951" in 3.2.1 to uniformly standardize the name of natural fiber;

--- Added 3.2.4 fiber quantitative analysis methods "FZ/T 01026 and FZ/T 01095, etc." to meet the actual testing needs.

This standard has made the following editorial changes.

--- Change the d) item of the example from "root/cm" to "root/10cm".

1 Scope

This standard specifies some parameters describing the woven fabric, including fabric fiber composition, yarn marking, fabric structural parameters and fabric technology.

Features and so on. The woven fabric description parameters are not limited to the parameters listed in this standard, and information can be supplemented as needed.

This standard applies to all woven fabrics except carpets.
