1 Scope

This document establishes the production procedures of the authentic medicinal material Atractylodes lancea, and stipulates the selection of production areas, seed and seedling preparation, planting techniques, field management, etc.

It provides operating instructions for the stages of processing, harvesting and primary processing at the origin, packaging and storage, and describes traceability methods such as production record and file management.

This document applies to the production of Atractylodes lancea in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei and other adjacent ecologically similar areas.
