1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of the valuation of old vehicles, establishes the valuation principles, stipulates the general requirements, and describes the valuation process. Value evaluation method.

This document is applicable to the valuation and evaluation of old cars, and can be used as a reference for the valuation and evaluation of other motor vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB 22128 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Old cars used vehicles

Cars that have been in use for a long time, have low technical performance, poor pollution control levels, and need to be scrapped.

Note. Excluding manufacturer's test vehicles.

3.2 ELV collecting and dismantling enterprises

An enterprise that has obtained the qualification certification for the recycling and dismantling of scrapped motor vehicles and is engaged in the recycling and dismantling of scrapped motor vehicles. [Source. GB 22128-2019, 3.7]

3.3 Valuation evaluation value assessment

The process by which scrapped motor vehicle recycling and dismantling companies estimate the recycling value of old cars based on valuation evaluation methods.

3.4 valuation assessment entity

Scrapped motor vehicle recycling and dismantling companies that conduct valuation and evaluation (3.3) of old cars (3.1).

3.5 scrap materials

Recyclable or discarded materials and parts dismantled from scrapped motor vehicles.

3.6 Reused parts

Reusable parts salvaged from old cars.

3.7 Remanufacturable parts

Parts salvaged from older vehicles that can be remanufactured to restore or improve their quality characteristics.
