1 Scope
This document provides a recommendation for the security-related misbehavior detection mechanism for connected vehicles. The mechanism includes the following steps.
a) Data collection. Describe the data and information types obtained from different sources for misbehavior detection in details, where the sources include vehicles, infrastructure, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and suppliers. Data collection methods and procedures are beyond the scope of this document.
b) Detection. Use the collected data to monitor misbehavior.
