First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 April 2025. Issued on 29 September 2024, it has been in force since 1 April 2025.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Underwater booster robots
The power unit generates power, and has the functions of automatic motion status reminder, active safety intervention, or autonomous navigation along a preset path.
A robot with the function of driving or assisting people to move in water.
3.2 thrust-to-weight ratio
A parameter that describes the ratio of the booster robot's thrust to its own weight.
