GB/T 44543-2024 is the Chinese national standard covering the two-part epoxy that joins precast concrete segments in bridges, wind power and underground structures — the classification and marking, the technical requirements including pot life, the test methods and the inspection rules, with annexes for tensile bond strength of steel to concrete, splitting tensile strength of the glued joint, T-peel impact length, shrinkage, and the wedge test that reads durability quickly rather than waiting out the life of the joint. A segmental deck carries its load across joints that are adhesive and nothing else. First edition, under the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. In force from 1 April 2025. Issued on 29 September 2024, it has been in force since 1 April 2025.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Segment
Assembled structural units prefabricated in the factory or on site.
3.2 Assembling
The construction process of connecting or fixing prefabricated segments to form a whole. Note. Also called splicing.
3.3 Epoxy adhesive
Adhesive composed of epoxy resin, curing agent, accelerator, modifier, diluent, filler, etc.
3.4 Pot life
After the adhesive is mixed, place it in the container to reach the specified operating temperature.
