Introduction

Eye and face injuries are common sports injuries. Some eye and face injuries, even if minor, can cause changes in the patient's lifestyle, such as Visual impairment or loss can have serious economic and social consequences for both the patient and society.

People who have common sense of eye protection and take eye protection measures during sports are less likely to suffer eye and facial injuries than those who do not take eye protection measures.

The probability and degree of eye and facial injuries vary from sport to sport. In some sports, if protective gear is not used, it seems very dangerous, but once used, it becomes relatively safe. Therefore, pay attention to prevent eye and facial injuries during exercise, and take appropriate measures when necessary.

Take appropriate eye and face protection measures and use eye and face protection equipment. And through standard specifications, reduce the risk of eye and face injuries to the minimum possible.

Low limit.

GB/T 44458 aims to standardize the production and application of eye and face protection products for different sports, and to provide effective protection measures in vulnerable areas.

Protect the safety and health of athletes in sports that may cause eye injuries, and minimize eye and facial injuries caused by sports.

Different types of sports are planned to be composed of the following three parts.

--- Part 1: Requirements for goggles for alpine skiing and snowboarding. The purpose is to specify the requirements and test methods for goggles.

--- Part 2: Requirements for squash goggles. The purpose is to specify the requirements and test methods for squash goggles.
