1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions related to coix seed rice, and stipulates the classification, quality requirements, inspection rules, labeling and packaging of coix seed rice.

The packaging, storage and transportation requirements are described, and the inspection method of Job's tears rice is described.

This document is applicable to coix seed rice made from coix as raw material through drying, cleaning, shelling and other processes.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Coix

The caryopsis of cultivated coix, a herbaceous plant of the Poaceae family.

Note. The husk is yellow, light brown, black, white, etc., shiny, and the grain is oval.

The product is made from coix seed through drying, cleaning, shelling, milling or not milling.
