Scope
GB/T 43392-2023 is the English-translated version of 地铁防灾系统安全性能测试与评估方法.
GB/T 43392-2023 is the Chinese national method for testing and rating the safety performance of metro disaster prevention systems.
It sets the general requirements, the choice of test points, the test system, test preparation, test steps, evaluation indicators and methods and the test report, with normative annexes on the layout of air velocity measuring points, on the mean plume temperature at ceiling height and on the rating criteria.
The system tested covers the equipment limiting fire spread and protecting evacuation - fire alarm, environment and equipment monitoring, smoke control and emergency ventilation, platform doors, fire shutters and smoke curtains - checked by an on-site hot smoke test for interlocking, reliability and effectiveness.
Clause 4.1 states that a system rated unqualified should be treated as ineligible for trial operation. Issued on 27 November 2023, it has applied since 1 June 2024.
