Scope
GB/T 43363-2023 is the English-translated version of 废弃化学品中铜、锌、镉、铅、铬等12种元素形态分布的测定 连续提取法.
GB/T 43363-2023 describes a sequential extraction procedure for determining how twelve elements are distributed among their chemical forms in waste chemicals.
Clause 1 names the elements - copper, zinc, cadmium, lead, chromium, silver, arsenic, barium, beryllium, mercury, nickel and selenium - and covers general provisions, sample processing, determination of the element forms and total content in the test sample, and the extraction and determination themselves.
The note to its definition of element form divides the forms into exchangeable, carbonate-bound, reducible, oxidizable, residual and water-soluble states, extracted in turn with reagents such as magnesium chloride solution and sodium acetate-acetic acid solution.
Clause 1 states that it applies to solid or semi-solid waste chemicals. It quotes GB/T 6682-2008 and GB/T 33057. Issued on 27 November 2023, it has applied since 1 June 2024.

Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
1 Scope
This document describes the continuous extraction method for the determination of copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), and silver in waste chemicals.
Methods for the form distribution of 12 elements (Ag), arsenic (As), barium (Ba), beryllium (Be), mercury (Hg), nickel (Ni) and selenium (Se), including general provisions, samples Product processing, determination of element types and total content in the sample to be tested, extraction and determination.
This document applies to solid or semi-solid waste chemicals.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.4 Elemental form extracted by sodium acetate-acetic acid solution
3.1 Element formspeciationof
The actual form in which an element exists as an ion or molecule in a matrix.
Note: Based on the continuous extraction procedure, the elemental forms are divided into exchangeable states, carbonate-bound states, reducible states, oxidizable states, residual states, and water-soluble states.
3.2 It consists of multiple steps, and adopts
a series of extractions such as neutral, acidic, strongly acidic, non-redox, redox, and strong oxidizing.
Agent, a method of continuously extracting the exchangeable state, carbonate-bound state, reducible state, oxidizable state and residual state of various elements in waste chemicals.
3.3 Exchangeable fraction
The form of elements extracted and exchanged by magnesium chloride solution.
