Scope

GB/T 4333.2-2023 is the English-translated version of 硅铁 磷含量的测定 铋磷钼蓝分光光度法.

GB/T 4333.2-2023 is the Chinese national spectrophotometric method for phosphorus in ferrosilicon, with a measuring range of 0.010% to 0.060% mass fraction.

The sample is dissolved in nitric or hydrofluoric acid and fumed with perchloric or sulfuric acid, sodium thiosulfate masks pentavalent arsenic, ammonium molybdate forms the yellow heteropoly complex, ascorbic acid reduces it to bismuth phosphomolybdenum blue, and the absorbance is read at 690 nm.

Against the 1988 edition it adds the stepwise dilution of the phosphorus standard solution, an instruments clause, sampling to GB/T 4010, a fuming sulfuric acid route for removing silicon, repeatability and reproducibility limits, a test report and an acceptance flow chart.

Its introduction states that GB/T 4333 is the basic ferrosilicon test series and has nine parts. It replaces GB/T 4333.2-1988, was issued on 7 September 2023 and has applied since 1 April 2024.

a) The method summary is changed to principles (see Chapter 4, Chapter 2 of the 1988 edition);

b) Added the stepwise dilution method of phosphorus standard solution [see 5.9a)];

c) Added instruments and equipment (see Chapter 6);

d) The name of the chapter "Samples" is changed to "Sample Preparation", and the sampling and preparation according to the provisions of GB/T 4010 is added (see Chapter 7, 1988 version of Chapter 4);

e) The number of measurements has been increased (see 8.1);

f) Changed the process of perchloric acid secondary smoke removal of silicon (see 8.4.1.1, 5.3.1~5.3.3 of the 1988 edition);

g) Added a method for preparing a solution for fuming sulfuric acid to remove silicon (see 8.4.1.2);

h) Changed the expression of calculation results (see 8.5, Chapter 6 of the 1988 edition);

i) Changed the expression of precision, replacing "allowable difference" with statistically obtained repeatability limit (r) and reproducibility limit (R) (see 8.6, 1988 Chapter 7 of the annual edition);

j) Added test report (see Chapter 9);

k) Added appendix A flow chart of sample analysis result acceptance procedure (see appendix A).

Introduction

Since there are many detection elements involved in the ferrosilicon detection process, the applicable scope and applicable methods of the elements are different. To ensure silicon The iron detection standards are convenient and accurate. For the analysis methods of different elements of ferrosilicon, a national standard system has been established to support the detection of ferrosilicon.

GB/T 4333 Ferrosilicon series analysis methods are the basic standards for ferrosilicon testing in my country and consist of 9 parts.

---Determination of ferrosilicon content by perchloric acid dehydration gravimetric method and potassium fluorosilicate volumetric method. The purpose is to measure the silicon content in ferrosilicon For the quantity, the perchloric acid dehydration gravimetric method and the potassium fluorosilicate volumetric method were used.

---Determination of ferrosilicon and phosphorus content by bismuth phosphorus molybdenum blue spectrophotometry. The purpose is to measure the phosphorus content in ferrosilicon, using bismuth phosphorus molybdenum blue Photometry.
