Scope

GB/T 43292-2023 is the English-translated version of 语言学习服务要求.

GB/T 43292-2023 is the Chinese national standard setting requirements for language-learning services, and it is equivalent to ISO 29991:2020.

It applies to services provided by language learning providers to learners and to relevant stakeholders, where the learning objectives are clear, the service can be evaluated and there is interaction with learners, whether in person, through technology, or both.

Its clauses run from determining learners' needs and designing the service, through teaching staff, learning materials and the learning environment, to assessment, service review, publicity, information for registered learners and sponsors, and payment.

Appendices give examples of learner proficiency levels and teaching staff competency. Supporting products and non-language services are excluded. Issued and applicable from 27 November 2023, it replaces no earlier edition.

This document is equivalent to ISO 29991:2020 "Language Learning Service Requirements". This document has made the following minimal editorial changes.

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements for language learning services, including all services for learners themselves and for relevant stakeholders. The above services The main characteristics of services are that the learning objectives are clear, the service is evaluable and includes interaction with learners. Learning can be in the form of face-to-face instruction or Implemented through technological media, or a combination of both.

This document only applies to language learning services provided by learning service providers, and does not include services provided to learners other than language learning services. supporting products (goods and services) or other language learning services.
