This document stipulates the water quality index limits, inspection frequency, and qualification rate of reverse osmosis desalination product water and describes the inspection methods.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Desalinated water obtained from seawater treated by reverse osmosis process

4 Water quality requirements

4.1 The total dissolved solids (TDS) of reverse osmosis seawater desalination product water should meet the requirements of Table 1.

4.2 When reverse osmosis seawater desalination product water is used as municipal water supply, it should comply with the requirements of Table 2 before entering the water supply pipe network.
