1 Scope

GB/T 43135-2023 gives the terminology and commercial specifications for wheeled block handlers - the fork-equipped loaders used to lift and carry cut stone blocks in quarries, a machine China makes in quantity for the granite and marble trade. Because it is a loader carrying a load on forks rather than in a bucket, the quantities that describe it are neither those of a wheel loader nor those of a forklift, and the specifications quoted in sales documents have been correspondingly inconsistent. The standard defines the terms for the base machine, the working equipment and the performance, and then the technical specifications to be stated in commercial documents, with a normative annex giving the symbols, terms and definitions of the working equipment dimensions. It took effect on 7 September 2023.

This document specifies the terminology and commercial specifications of tire-type forklifts and their working devices, as well as the contents in their technical documents. This document applies to tire-type forklifts with a rated loading and unloading load of not less than 8000kg.
