1 Scope
This document specifies safety-related terms and definitions, symbols, application type descriptions and examples, major hazard lists, Safety requirements, test methods, usage information and storage period.
This document applies to superabrasive products containing diamond or cubic boron nitride, including grinding and cutting wheels, diamond circular saw blades, metal Diamond wire saws, grinding heads, grinding wheels for construction and civil engineering.
This document does not apply to ordinary abrasive bonded abrasives, coated abrasives, rotary dressing tools, dressers, or any non-rotating superabrasive products.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 16458 and below apply to this document.
3.1 Machine type
3.1.1 Stationary machines
A machine with a fixed position during operation.
Note 1. Including fixed swing frame machines and mobile machines that are firmly fixed during use.
Note 2. Transportable machines that are fixed in position when working are also considered stationary machines.
3.1.2 Enclosed machines
A stationary machine protected by an isolation cover, which allows the processing process, including workpiece loading and unloading, to be carried out inside and protects personnel. Prevent damage caused by broken grinding tools.
