Scope

GB/T 43098.1-2023 is the English-translated version of 水处理剂分析方法 第1部分:磷含量的测定.

This document describes a spectrophotometric method for determining the phosphorus content of water treatment chemicals.

The document applies to the determination of orthophosphate, total inorganic phosphorus, total phosphorus and total organic phosphorus in compound water treatment chemicals whose phosphorus content is below 10 % expressed as phosphate; products richer in phosphorus may be measured after dilution.

It does not apply to the determination of phosphorus in iron-based water treatment products. It is the first part of the standard on the analysis of water treatment chemicals.

Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document is Part 1 of GB/T 43098 "Analysis Methods for Water Treatment Agents". GB/T 43098 has released the following parts.

---Part 1: Determination of phosphorus content.

Introduction

In order to ensure the normal operation of the water system, save water, and reduce environmental pollution, it is necessary to add an appropriate amount of chemical treatment chemicals to the water.

Products to control corrosion, scaling, bacteria, algae, slime and other hazards caused by water supply equipment and water pipelines. With the development of water treatment technology, water quality The situation is becoming increasingly complex, and the types of water treatment agent products with different formulas are increasing.

GB/T 43098 aims to establish chemical analysis methods for water treatment agent products and is intended to consist of two parts.

---Part 1: Determination of phosphorus content. The purpose is to establish a method for determining phosphorus content.

---Part 2: Determination of arsenic, mercury, cadmium, chromium, lead, nickel and copper content by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The purpose is To establish the determination method of arsenic, mercury, cadmium, chromium, lead, nickel and copper content.

Spectrophotometry has been widely used in phosphorus content in water treatment products due to its advantages of high sensitivity, good precision and high detection efficiency. determination.

Water treatment agent analysis method Part 1: Determination of phosphorus content Warning. The strong acid used in this document is corrosive. Avoid inhalation or contact with skin when using. If splashed on your body, rinse immediately with plenty of water Wash and seek medical attention immediately if severe.

1 Scope

This document describes a spectrophotometric method for the determination of phosphorus content in water treatment agents.

This document is applicable to the determination of orthophosphate, total inorganic phosphorus, total phosphorus and total organic phosphorus in water treatment compound chemicals. The range of phosphorus content determination Less than 10% (calculated as PO43-), water treatment compound chemicals with higher phosphorus content can be measured after dilution.

This document is not applicable to the determination of phosphorus content in iron-based water treatment agent products.
