Scope

GB/T 42828.1-2023 is the English-translated version of 盐碱地改良通用技术 第1部分:铁尾砂改良.

This document describes the technical principles of improving saline-alkali land with iron tailings and specifies the technical requirements, the field management and the evaluation of the result.

The document applies to iron ore mining enterprises that use the high-silicon iron tailings left after crushing, grinding and magnetic separation to improve saline-alkali land whose soil is compacted and poor and whose texture is loamy.

It does not apply to improvement where the soil texture is sandy or sandy loam. It is the first part of the standard on the general technology for saline-alkali land improvement.

Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document is Part 1 of GB/T 42828 "General Technology for Improvement of Saline-alkali Lands". GB/T 42828 has released the following parts.

---Part 1: Iron tailings improvement;

---Part 2: Improvement of rice fields, ponds, fisheries and agriculture;

---Part 3: Biological improvement.

Introduction

According to the requirements of the "National High-Standard Farmland Construction Plan (2021-2030)", in order to promote the technical experience of improving my country's saline-alkali land, we have Finalize this document.

Improving saline-alkali land is of great significance to ensuring national food security and protecting the ecological environment. In order to solve the problem that a single technology is difficult to satisfy the salt To solve the problem of demand for improving saline-alkali land, my country has developed three key technologies. iron tailings improvement, fishery-agriculture coupling, and biological improvement to improve saline-alkali land.

Long-term effectiveness and high efficiency, thereby promoting efficient and high-value utilization of improved saline-alkali land. GB/T 42828 aims to provide relevant parties with three types of salts The requirements and effect evaluation methods of alkaline land improvement technology are planned to be composed of three parts.

---Part 1: Iron tailings improvement. The purpose is to use iron tailings from stable sources and safe quality as saline-alkali soil improvement materials and standardize iron tailings.

Sand improvement technology not only achieves large-scale and standardized improvement of saline-alkali land, but also ensures soil environmental quality and food security, and promotes Promote sustainable development of agriculture.

---Part 2: Improvement of rice fields, ponds, fisheries and agriculture. The purpose is to provide solutions for saline-alkali land improvement using the saline-alkali land rice field, pond, fishery and agriculture model.

Provide technical guidance and improvement effect evaluation basis, solve the problem of the outlet of salt washing and alkaline water discharge during the treatment of saline-alkali land, and achieve ecological benefits.

It can achieve win-win benefits and economic benefits, and promote the comprehensive utilization and sustainable development of saline-alkali land.

---Part 3: Biological improvement. The purpose is to use biological resources such as microbial fertilizers, organic fertilizers and straw, as well as to plant green manure and resistant crops.

The saline-alkali land improvement carried out by biotechnology such as halophytes provides technical guidance and improvement effect evaluation basis, protects land resources, increases economic benefits and promote the comprehensive utilization and sustainable development of saline-alkali land.

1 Scope

This document describes the technical principles of saline-alkali land improvement technology with iron tailings, and stipulates technical requirements, field management and effect evaluation.

This document is applicable to iron ore mining enterprises that use high-silicon iron tailings obtained after crushing, grinding, and magnetic separation physical processes to treat hardened and transparent minerals.

Improve the saline-alkali land with poor soil properties and loamy soil texture.

This document does not apply to improvements where the soil texture is sandy or sandy loam.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Iron tailings

The powdery tailings with silicon and iron as the main components is obtained after iron ore is beneficiated through physical processes such as crushing, grinding, and magnetic separation.

3.2 Saline-alkaliland

salinized land Land that contains too much soluble salt in the soil so that non-salt tolerant plants cannot grow normally.

3.3 Soil salt content

The amount of soluble salts in the soil.

Note: Expressed in grams of soluble salt per kilogram of dry soil, unit is grams per kilogram (g/kg).
