Scope

GB/T 42709.2-2026 is the English-translated version of 半导体器件 微电子机械器件 第2部分:薄膜材料拉伸试验方法.

GB/T 42709.2-2026 — This document describes tensile testing methods for thin film materials with a length and width both less than 1 mm and a thickness less than 10 µm.

Materials are the main structural materials for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), micromachines, and similar micro-devices. Thin-film structural materials used in microelectromechanical systems, micromechanics, and similar microdevices have some special characteristics, such as a typical size of micrometers.

The grade and materials are prepared using deposition processes, while the test pieces are prepared using non-mechanical processing techniques such as etching and photolithography.

The test methods specified in this document... This method can ensure the accuracy of test results for these special materials.
